Today I walked over to the Alamo and did the tour. Again, the history in this city is unbelievable! This is in the center of town, with all the new high rises built up around it. The Alamo draws 2.5 million visitors each year – wow who knew….
They have horse drawn carriages outside of the Alamo that you can take around the city. Below is the timeline of the Alamo. I cheated, I did screenshots…

One of these days….sooner rather than later….I will get to the state where I was born…Texas. Lived there all of two months as my parents were on the pipeline and we moved A LOT!!!!!! So enjoying your posts and pics!!!
